I cant pronounce this band, I may even have spelt it wrong. They are part of the Arbutus Records camp in Canada and they recently supported Grimes on her last tour. I love them, you’ll get to love them and the world we be at one – tonstartssbandht.bandcamp.com

Houndmouth (live) + guests
As I write this I’m sat at an airport waiting to go and see this band at SXSW, in view of this I cant tell you that they are great live, but I’ve seen them on youtube and I clapped afterwards, that’s how bloody good they are, I clapped at a computer. Oh the cover The Band too, that’s good enough for me so you’ve got no room for complaints.

When we announced this on facebook we got 35 ‘likes’, I’m pretty sure it was from genuine fans, although the picture we put up was of that grumpy cat that everyone likes posting, we is pretty cute though. Anyway Vondelpark are on R&S and are a big deal, even bigger deal than an internet cat, that may or may not still be alive as we go to print.

The Fair Ohs + Blood Sport

The Fair Ohs + Blood Sport
Fair Oh slatest track ‘Everything is Dancing; has a very eastern feel to it, think soundtrack to Daarjeeling Linited mixed with dare I say it Foals (they’re gonna hate us for that, sorry guys). Blood Sport are pretty gnarly sounding, a little scary, but they’re young and quite skinny so don’t be too afraid.
